Bathing at Sukkama Genji no Yu

Opened in April 2022, located just a short walk from the hotel on the north side of Keihanna Plaza!
Sukkama Genji no Yu, a natural hot spring bath and sauna facility, is a beloved local bathhouse that is the first in Japan to offer the Sukkama Korean-style sauna together with natural hot spring water that is said to have skin-beautifying properties.

It features relaxation facilities, a Korean-style Akasuri body scrubbing, a drink counter, a restaurant, and a rest area with unlimited manga and magazines, making your time here a blissful experience that heals both the body and mind.

Hours: 10:00-midnight (last admission 23:00)

Meals & Shopping

Vierra Town is an open-air shopping mall conveniently located directly in front of the east entrance of Keihanna Plaza Hotel!
Home to the discount supermarket Lamu, which is open until midnight, as well as a drugstore, the 100-yen shop Daiso, a gas station, and a variety of eateries, this mall is just the thing for guests here for long-term stays!

Shop examples: McDonald’s, Marugame Seimen, Katsu and Katsu, Torikizoku, Uotami, Karaoke Rainbow, Anytime Fitness, etc.

Getting to the National Diet Library

National Diet Library Kansai-kan is about an 8-minute walk from the hotel.
This sprawling library boasts a total area of 83,000 square meters and a collection of more than 17 million items, including approximately 2.8 million books and roughly 120,000 magazines and newspapers from Japan and around the world.
There are only two National Diet Libraries in Japan, in Tokyo and Osaka, so why not seize this unique opportunity and make a visit?

Getting to Keihanna Commemorative Park

Keihanna Commemorative Park is located about a 12-minute walk from the hotel.
This Kyoto Prefectural park was developed to commemorate the construction of Keihanna Science City and opened in April 1995.It has a total area of 24.1 hectares.
The park has been designed on the theme of Japanese village scenery, with Suikei-en (Japanese garden), Mebuki no Mori (mountain village), and a terraced rice paddy field-style plaza offering beautiful and nostalgic views.
Please visit this lovely park when you have the opportunity.
